Twenty years ago, ISC designed the first six Copenhagen Water Bus stops. Now ISC has won Copenhagen Municipality´s competition for the next 4 stops as well.

The Waterbuses serves 520,000 passengers a year. It is estimated, that the establishment of four new Waterbus stops will increase the number of passengers with 430,000 and bring it to a total of 950.000. With this extension of the waterbus route two new connections across the harbor are created between Nordhavn/Østerbro and Refshaleøen as well as Enghave Brygge and Islands Brygge syd.

At the same time the Water Busses are overgoing to run electrical. Two charging station are being established at Teglholmen and Orientkaj. The new connections will be beneficial for bikers and pedestrians of these areas and help to develop the attraction of these new urban areas.

The new stops are placed at

  • Orientkaj
  • Langeliniekaj
  • Enghave Brygge
  • Islands Brygge Syd.
