Tværkajen
Tværkajen comprises residential buildings located at Tværkajen 1 in Odense. The site is situated directly along the quay edge of the Odense Canal.
A total of 105 residential units have been constructed across four blocks. The blocks vary in height: the tallest comprises 7 storeys plus a rooftop terrace, including a basement, and the lowest comprises 5 storeys plus a rooftop terrace, including a basement.
Approximately 6,000 m² of superstructure has been constructed for residential use, along with approximately 500 m² of basement area beneath the courtyard.
The substructures are constructed with cast-in-situ basement walls and slabs against ground. All ground slabs and foundation beams are self-supporting and founded on driven piles. The superstructures are executed in precast concrete elements, for which ISC has been responsible for all element design.
Technical installations are located in technical rooms in the basement, with vertical service shafts running through the apartments.
