Over the last years, we have detailed and executed workshop drawings for a large number of path and road bridges for the Inner Harbour in Copenhagen for the construction company CG Jensen A / S.
The workshop drawings used for the production of the bridge in the workshop, are created from 3D models, modeled in TEKLA.
The drawing sets typically consist of cutting drawings, welding drawings, and ID drawings with associated material and bolt lists, which provide a solid basis for the work to be carried out in the workshop.
The TEKLA models are also used for installation projects in connection with lifting the bridges onto the abutments.
These two snaps illustrate a geometrically complicated road bridge, which we have just handed over to CG Jensen A / S for the project “The Residence CPH” at Enghave Brygge in Copenhagen.
The bridge has a curved length profile.
The bridge’s two main bearing main beams are not parallel, and the intersection with the channel over which the bridge extends, is not perpendicular.
An exciting and challenging task for our skilled operators.
The bridge is designed in CC3 and is approved by a reputed structural engineer.

TP 30 Railway bridge – a part of the Copenhagen – Ringsted railway at Vallensbæk – designed by ISC Consulting Engineers A/S has been awarded the prestigious IABSE Structure Award 2018. The bridge is 512 m long and was part of a design & build contract handed over to a consortium comprising CG Jensen A/S and Barslund A/S with ISC Consulting Engineers A/S as consultants.
