During the summer of 2014 the Tyra Southeast B platform was installed on a 4-legged jacket as a satellite platform connected via a bridge to the Tyra Southeast A platform. The installation of the Tyra Southeast platform and bridge will maintain and increase the production from the Tyra Southeast reservoir, and create opportunities for future recovery of oil and gas from the Nana reservoir.

The production is led through pipelines to the Tyra complex where further treatment and export of oil and gas to land is handled.

The Tyra Southeast B platform consists of a 4-legged jacket structure which is pile-founded at approximately 40 metres water depth. The Tyra Southeast field is supervised and controlled remotely from the Tyra East field by the operator Maersk Oil. Tyra Southeast is located 11 km from Tyra East.

The new platform contains space for 16 new production wells, 4 production manifolds, test facilities/separator, facilities for import of lift gas as well as a large number of utility systems.

The new 60-metre pipe bridge between platform A and platform B contains walkway and process equipment which is to maintain and optimise the production from platform A.

The topside, jacket and pipe bridge are designed by ISC in collaboration with Semco Maritime A/S. The platform was constructed in Denmark at Bladt Industries A/S in Aalborg.

The 2000 ton jacket, the 1100 ton topside, 12 piles weighing 1700 tonnes and the 200 ton bridge were transported to the site on a barge and lifted into place by a crane from Herema during the summer of 2014.

The Tyra Southeast B platform and pipe bridge have taken nearly 2 years to design, construct and manufacture.

The story of the project comprises a Front End Engineering Design project (FEED) which was begun by ISC Esbjerg in 2006 and further developed as a design concept in 2011. Following this, the engineering design of the pipe bridge and jacket was carried out at ISC’s offices in Copenhagen.

After finalizing the FEED project, the entire project raised as an EPC contract in 2012. The EPC contract was won by Bladt Industries A/S after which the design, manufacture and construction could be started at the yard in Aalborg.
ISC has carried out the engineering disciplines in steel design, process design, mechanical design, pipe design, ventilation and fire & safety. The design was carried out as a collaborative effort between ISC’s offices in Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Kolding and Viborg.

Gas Module Tyra West

The appraisal of the Halfdan NE gas reservoir and the European open gas marked intention have formed the initial basis for establishing a 26″ pipeline running 99 km from the Danish sector towards the Dutch sector vie the NOGAT F3 platform and further on to shore at Holland for distribution. The pipeline is owned by DUC and DONG Naturgas and is operated by Mærsk Olie og Gas A/S.

Halfdan BD

Halfdan BD platform is the latest addition to the Halfdan B Complex in the Danish North Sea. The platform upgrades the complex to manned operation and provides facilities to handle extraction of oil reserves with high water contents.

Dan FG

The latest platform installed in the Dan field in the Danish North Sea is Dan FG. This platform increases the 300 bar water injection in the old Dan and Halfdan oil fields, thereby maintaining the pressure from the oil production.

Dai Hung Mid Depth Buoys

Drilling for oil and gas in deep water is usually done by means of semi- submersible rigs. This is also the case in the Dai Hung oilfield, located in Block 05-01a, approximately 250 km of the coast of Vietnam at a water depth of approximately 110 m.

Nini East

The Nini East A Platform was installed in summer 2009 as a satellite platform to Siri. Nini East A is solely a production platform producing for Siri. Dong Energy A/S operates the Siri platform and the adjoining platforms.

Maersk Drilling XLE Rigs

The Maersk Drilling XLE rigs is a series of four ultra harsh environment jack-up drilling rigs. The rigs were delivered from ship yards in The Far East and transported to Norway for a start-up stay for installation of Company equipment.

Maersk Drilling JU-rig

The YME field in Norway was redeveloped in 2008-2010 by Talisman. A storage tank was placed on the seabed 95m below sea level. An OD 5m caisson, protecting the future 9 conductors, connected to the tank, extended 25m above sea level.
