The UK Project is to be situated 22km off the north-east coast of Scotland. It is to have a production capacity of 950 MW.
The development is to include three offshore substations distributed throughout the wind farm. Array cables (66kV) from the turbines are terminated on the offshore transformer platforms where the power is transformed to 220kV. The power is to be exported to a new onshore substation at New Deer in Aberdeenshire and into the national grid.
ISC has carried out the innovative detailed design of the three offshore substation platforms with Siemens as the client. Smulders fabricates the three offshore substation platforms.

Denmark’s first high-speed railway – the 60 km from Copenhagen Central Station to Ringsted, via the new train station Køge North – was inaugurated on May 31st 2019 by HRH Crown Prince Frederik.
ISC Consulting Engineers has in cooperation with TERROIR, Latz + Partner and Steffen Rasmussen been qualified to the second round of the design competition regarding the development of “The Coal Crane Track” area in Aarhus.
ISC has in cooperation with Spektrum Architects and Norrøn won the competition “Cold Hawaii Inland”- a 4-year frame contract with Thisted Municipality.
The three substations – 700, 1500 og 1800 tons for Denmarks largest offshore windfarm have now been installed by the crane ship Rambiz. ISC has designed topsides and the jacket structures.
