Metro Stage 3 - Østamagerbanen

The Østamagerbanen is the third phase of the Copenhagen metro M1 and is a continuation of the metro from Lergravsparken to Copenhagen airport.

The Østamagerbanen includes construction work for a 4.1 km double-track line with a total of 5 above-ground stations with steel and aluminum platforms, 4 concrete road crossings (two road bridges with a span of approx. 16 m and two metro bridges with a span of approx. 20.5 and 12 .6 m span), 7 tunnels including handicap-friendly ramps for pedestrians and bicycles as well as two concrete bridges for pedestrians and bicycles, with respectively approx. 22.1 m span and seven bays and a total length of 107 m.

In addition, runway trenches with 80 m secant pile walls and approx. 2000 m sheet pile walls and 4 underground technical rooms in concrete with a volume of approx. 200m3 floor plans and drainage systems, including four rainwater basins with volumes from 82 to 496 m3 and a total of 28 pump stations. In addition, it also includes four underground technical rooms in concrete, paving plans, a drainage system, and four rainwater basins.

A track trench has been constructed as a trough construction with 80 Ibm secant pile walls and approx. 2000 Ibm anchored sheet pile walls. The troughs are provided with a base plate in reinforced concrete, which is held against buoyancy by ground anchors.

Services Provided by ISC

  • Tender project for trough constructions, concrete construction, ns and drain,ge including quantity determination
  • Delivery of a detailed project for all engineering services, including detailed drawings with associated calculation basis for use by authorities and execution

Coordination

  • Assisted HAN project management with coordination of railway technical matters, running current, cables, etc.

Additional Information

The track located in track pits (troughs) is dimensioned for 1000-yearyear rainfall. Other sections are dimensioned for a 5-year rainfall. Stations, technical rooand ms, and pumping stations are built in concrete structures to withstand the above water pressure.
