309 MW green energy

Rentel is located 40 km from Ostend on the Belgian coast and has a water depth of 31 metres. The wind farm consists of 42 wind turbines with a capacity of 309 MW. The substructure, including the topside cable deck, supports the topside with a weight of 1100 tonnes. Monopiles are 5.6-7.8 meters in diameter.

Detailed design of primary and secondary structures

The design includes foundation design including monopiles, J-tube cage, transition piece, topside cable deck, scour design, drivability analysis, temporary installation guides, upwelling protection, and sea anchorage design. The substructure accommodates 7 j-tubes for array cables, 2 j-tubes for export cables, and 1 j-tube for inter-platform coupling cables.
