The Formosa 4 Wind Farm

The Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Farm is a 495 MW project developed by Synera Renewable Energy approximately 20 km off the coast of Miaoli County, Taiwan.
It will consist of 35 turbines and one substation, powering roughly 500,000 households.

Detailed design of the topside

ISC has carried out the full detailed design of the topside for that substation, while PTSC M&C has designed the jacket for the substructure.

General description of the project

Formosa 4 is the third of Synera Renewable Energy's offshore wind projects in the region, following the Formosa 1 and Formosa 2 projects. The ambition is to push Taiwan's ability to develop offshore wind power independently and bring it to the next phase in Taiwan's energy transition.

ISC is partnering with Semco Maritime and PTSC M&C to carry out the project.
