Lyshøjskolen
Kolding's biggest school will become even bigger in connection with this renovation. The extension consists of 2 parts, one south and one north. The expansion of Lyshøjskolen Nord will, among other things, create space for more students, and will include a cloakroom, toilets, technical room, makerspace, meeting room, learning staircase, outdoor workstation with sinks and cold water, common room, physics/chemistry and biology/geography.
Remodeling and the expansion of Lyshøjskolen Syd consists of an extension containing Læringstorv and the remodels/renovations include more or less all forms of school use. Kolding Municipality's guidelines for sustainability have been followed, which leads to fairly good results for LCA calculations. The load-bearing constructions for Nord are made of glulam and light decks.
